Now let’s weigh why nobody has ever tried to steal your car before...

I unlocked my car with a rake, if there is a will there is a way.

I was once caught by police attempting to do this. They were surprisingly cool about it.

Extra set of keys at home? What a novel idea. Thank you, DD.

I left the window down about 1” for ventilation so I used a rake handle to poke the unlock button on the opposite side of the car.

Except for that guy (in Ireland?) who knocked himself out trying to do that.

Stepdad used to be a repo driver. He showed me the ropes. With proper tools it can be done on most cars in a few seconds.

Years ago we used to play football on Sunday’s with work people. New guy locked his keys in his car. I got in in about 3 or 4 minutes using a coat hanger. We had only worked together once or twice, he said something to the effect “I hope you’re a good person and don’t steal my stuff while I’m working”

A friend of mine in high school did this so often that he kept a coat hangar wrapped around the luggage rack. He didn’t want to use a magnetic spare key holder because he thought it would make it too easy to steal his Pinto....
